The past comes roaring to life next fall at the 64th Annual Steam-O-Rama, and the show is shaping up to be our most monumental yet. Double the Excitement: The J.I. Case Expo & the Case 150HP Steam Engine!
We’re proud to announce that Steam-O-Rama 2026 will feature the J.I. Case Expo, a can’t-miss gathering for fans of classic Case equipment—showcasing a wide range of vintage tractors, tools, and memorabilia that helped shape American agriculture and
industry.
But that’s not all. Making history right alongside the Expo is the mighty Case 150HP Steam Engine—the largest traction engine in the world! This iconic steam giant will be making its first-ever appearance this far south, and trust us: you’ll hear it before you see it.
The Legend Lives On
Originally designed for heavy freight work, pulling massive loads to the next rail connection in the early 1900s, only nine “Case Road Locomotive” engines were ever built between 1905–1907. All were lost to history.
That is, until Kory Anderson of Andover, SD revived the dream. Starting in 2006, Anderson poured over a decade into researching and growing his business, which enabled him to begin hand-building a fully operational Case 150 in 2016—recreating a machine many believed would never steam again. His journey is a testament to grit, craftsmanship, and the enduring legacy of American innovation. Learn more at 150case.com.’
Don’t Miss This Historic Celebration
Whether you’re a lifelong Case collector, steam engine enthusiast, or just someone who loves the power and pageantry of mechanical history, the 64th Annual Steam-O-Rama is the place to be.
Bring your family, your camera, and your curiosity—it’s time to make memories.
